Here's some of the questions that you guys have asked, and my responses!
Why did you decided to print the patterns on t-shirts?
Many reasons really! I'm a major t-shirt collector and wearer, and I even wrote my final year dissertation on t-shirts. I really think a t-shirt is an accessible
item of clothing, and the perfect thing to print on. Personally, I know I'd rather buy something printed on a shirt that can be worn as a shirt or created into something else, than I would buy
a piece of plain fabric with a printed pattern on. For the unglefor creatures, the fabric of the t-shirt works really well too!
Where can I buy the shirts?
Right now the shirts aren't *really* for sale, if you're desperate for one though just drop me an email through the contact page. In september the finestimaginary online store
will be opening, and the unglefor shirts (and several other printed t-shirts, sweaters and other random merchandise) will be available.
Where can I see the exhibition of creatures, books & finished t-shirts?
The t-shirts, books and ready-made creatures will be exhibited at the Interactive Arts Ba degree show in Manchester, UK. This runs from the 16th until the 24th of June, you can find out more at the MMU degree show website! After this show, there are no other confirmed venues :)
Where did the name 'Unglefor' come from?
I just made it up! Infact, I think I found it in one of my old sketchbooks on a signpost I'd drawn as a doodle.
